Profile Summary

Astrophysicist with excellent problem solving skills acquired during University studies. My degree allowed me to get acquainted with both experimental and theoretical part of my discipline. As an experimental, computational astrophysicist my experience and skills are based around experimental setups and programming. I have experience in solar an high energy gamma ray spectroscopy, computational programming for CERN data analysis on Z and W bosons, and, more recently, in Radio Astronomy programming and data analysis for the Square Kilometre Array Pulsar Search Group. 
I have experience in teaching due to my many years as a tutor. I have taught students from GCSE level to University with brilliant results. I also enjoy science, and specifically Physics and Astronomy, outreach which I cultivated as a member of my University's Physics Outreach group - group which presented fun, simple physics and astronomy experiments to the general public and children in schools and festivals - and during a primary school placement at Abbotsford Preparatory School in Urmston, UK - I presented astronomical concepts like stars and their life cycle, black holes and pulsars, to children aged 10-11.
