Profile Summary

I hold a Ph.D. in political science. I am currently a Non-resident Kelly Fellow at the Pacific Forum and will become in March 2025 a visiting scholar at the Seoul National University Asia Center. I am also a non-resident fellow at the European Centre for North Korean Studies and a non-resident research fellow at the ROK Forum for Nuclear Strategy. I was named one of the Next Generation Korea Peninsula Specialists at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and a Young Leader of the Pacific Forum. My research expertise revolves around international relations, and my main interests are strategic studies, great power competition, and Korean affairs. I am the author of Bandwagoning in International Relations: China, Russia, and Their Neighbors (Vernon Press, 2024).
