I am a PhD-trained Medicinal and Computational Chemist with 4+ years of combined postdoctoral and industry experience in drug discovery and chemical biology. I completed my PhD in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry (2021), focusing on the design, synthesis, and in-silico evaluation of nitrogen-based heterocyclic compounds, integrating molecular docking and structure-based drug design with wet-lab synthesis. I have worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the USA on an NIH-funded project involving the design and optimization of novel antifungal agents targeting fungal Acetyl-CoA synthetase. My expertise includes computational modeling, SAR analysis, ligand optimization, and biological data interpretation, along with mentoring students in computational and experimental techniques. Previously, I served as a Senior Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry, gaining hands-on experience in route synthesis, compound purification, and analytical characterization (¹H/¹³C NMR, HPLC, LC-MS, HRMS). My core skills include molecular docking, QSAR, virtual screening, medicinal chemistry, drug-like molecule design, scientific writing, and data analysis. I am a peer reviewer for international journals and am interested in remote consulting and project-based work in computational drug discovery and medicinal chemistry.
