My Technical experience includes the following: • Fermentation Technology: Upstream and downstream processing of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) in a high cell density fermentation process using automated fermentation system. • Molecular Biology: Traditional cloning approaches – cloning the gene of interest into the plasmid vector and its expression in Cupriavidus necator. • Instrumentation: GC - FID, GC - MS for analytical techniques and FT - IR, NMR, DSC for PHA characterization My Industrial experience provided me with the following skill set: • Sterility Testing by membrane filtration method as well as direct inoculation • Bioburden testing of raw material & final product • Clean room environmental monitoring & personnel monitoring • Bacterial Endotoxin Testing of Final product • Microbiological Testing of Water Samples • Biological Indicator (BI) testing • Prepare and maintain standards, controls, stocks, cultures as per established procedure.• Perform a variety of microbiological tests with documentation according to established procedures.• Perform Growth Promotion Test of media • Microbial method validation and Microbiological study protocol execution • Data preparation, Review and Trending.
