Profile Summary

I have gained immense experience by working in an AERB certified biodosimetry laboratory for my 6-months research project. I am very confident with lymphocyte culture, chromosome preparation, CBMN, and Dicentric assay. I am also trained in manually scoring chromosomal aberrations such as dicentrics, centric rings, micronucleus, etc. under a microscope. I have experience working in a Laminar Air Flow cabinet. I have also learnt media preparation and sterilization during this time. During my postgraduation, I have been working on a research project in Biomedical Genetics Research Laboratory at Vellore Institute of Technology for 7 months. During this time in the lab, I had hands-on training in various techniques like PCR, Gel electrophoresis, Silver staining, and Comet assay and have strong theoretical knowledge in these techniques. I have also had the experience of troubleshooting assays. I have also been an active intern at NavyaCare Technologies, a clinical informatics company for 6 months. This internship helped me develop data management skills.
