Profile Summary

I am a pharmacist graduated in 2011 and since graduation I have been working with scientific initiation projects, participating in congresses, publishing and presenting abstracts at events in addition to publishing an article still in graduation. I did a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UFRGS (conclusion in 2014), where I worked with the semisynthesis of pentacyclic triterpenes derived from ursofolic and betulynic acid, aiming at antimalarial activity. I performed pharmacological and toxicological trials in vitro and in vivo that resulted in the publication of a scientific article in 2018. I have a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from UFRGS (conclusion in 2018), where I worked with the synthesis of quinolines aiming at antitumor and antifungal activity (2 publications of a scientifics articles in 2020 and 2021). During my doctorate, I did a 12-month internship at Université Rennes 1 - France, where I worked with the planning and organic synthesis of quinolines. In addition, I have experience in research in the areas of phytochemistry, organic synthesis and bioactive compound planning, as well as in the development of analytical methods of separation and characterization of molecules through chromatography, mass spectroscopy and NMR. I also have knowledge in organic chemistry and extensive experience in the planning and execution of laboratory practices, involving synthesis reactions, extractive and isolation methods. Experience in the analysis, identification, elucidation and quantification of organic compounds through spectroscopic experiments (NMR, IV, UV, MS), as well as experience and theoretical and practical foundation of chromatographic techniques (CCD, HPLC, CG) covering analytical and quantitative tests. Office Suite Domain (Word, Excel and Power Point), software such as GraphPad Prism, ChemDraw, MestRe Nova and search platforms (SciFinder, Web of Science, Integrity, among others). In addition, he has experience in the search for technical/scientific data in the literature, preparation of technical reports and scientific texts.
