Profile Summary

I am an experienced Materials Scientist and Engineer with a strong track record in advanced composites research, testing, and industrial collaboration. My expertise spans aluminum metal matrix composites, hybrid reinforcement systems, and additively manufactured continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites (CFRTPCs) for aerospace and automotive applications. I have collaborated with leading institutions, including LMATS (Australia), IVW GmbH (Germany), ANSTO Synchrotron (Australia), CSIRO, and KU Leuven, providing mechanical testing (tensile, flexural, tribological, and corrosion), nondestructive testing (UT, PAUT, FMC/TFM), and imaging/defect characterization (SEM, Synchrotron Micro-CT). My work includes optimization of process parameters (Taguchi–Grey analysis), DOE-based statistical modelling, permeability characterization, and structural health monitoring approaches for aerostructures. I have published in high-impact journals (e.g., Polymers, Journal of Composite Materials, Composites Part A), reviewed for international journals, and received competitive grants and scholarships. Alongside my PhD research at Swinburne University, I also serve as Teaching Sessional Staff and Industry-Based Research Assistant, training students in polymer composites modelling, processing, and characterization.
