Born and raised in Honduras, native spanish speaker, I completed elementary and secondary school in a local bilingual institute. After achieving high academic standards throughout my early education, finishing high school I went on to pursue a career in the medical field. As of today, I am a licensed physician with hands-on clinical experience in a general hospital setting, including internal medicine, emergency care, and various medical rotations. My academic excellence culminated with a Summa Cum Laude approved thesis and slated for publication, this was the experience that first sparked my interest in the clinical trials landscape. Looking forward to expand my knowledge, I currently hold the mandatory ICH GCP R3 Certification and advanced knowledge from the NIH Principles of Clinical Research (IPPCR) course. I am passionate about the process of finding and implementing new therapeutic advances for vulnerable patients. I believe science is ever evolving and the medical field thrives from innovation; which is why I am transitioning into clinical research and pharmacovigilance, where I can contribute to drug safety at a broader scale.
