Profile Summary

Hello and welcome to my profile! I hold a PhD in Statistics from the University of Virginia and have a strong foundation in Data Analytics. With nine years of experience in data analysis, I have honed my skills in SAS, SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Power BI. I have also worked with MATLAB in the past. Using these programming languages, I have completed seven projects, ranging from healthcare data analysis to survey design. Three of these projects resulted in three published papers, with a fourth one currently in progress. Additionally, I have presented at over 20 conferences. Through these projects, I have gained valuable research experience and a deeper understanding of data analysis. For my PhD research, I developed a variable selection strategy for compositional data analysis within a linear regression framework. The main focus was on variable subset deletion to observe its impact on the model's coefficient of determination. Additionally, for the Greenberg project, we analyzed the Greenberg Unrelated Question Binary Model for sensitive survey questions, examining two variations. In one variation, we allowed multiple independent responses per participant, while the other employed inverse sampling to determine the threshold for affirmative responses. Finally, for the Evolution of Cooperation in Mobile Populations project, we developed a simulation model that enabled simultaneous interactions among multiple individuals, enhancing our understanding of cooperative behaviors. My research interests also include nonparametric statistics, Bayesian methods, high-dimensional data analysis and multivariate statistics.
