Profile Summary

I’ve always had a passion for science, the discovery of new knowledge and using it to benefit the world. I consider myself to be a goal-oriented, hardworking and creative scientist that thinks outside the box to solve problems. I will never stop learning and trying to improve myself. I like to develop innovative, optimized methods and procedures that streamline previously used methods which are more complicated, time-consuming and costly. I’ve written and published a few scientific papers based on methods I’ve developed and won an award for one. I’m a research scientist with experience in designing and managing projects, working with my fellow colleagues to manage the laboratory, and various techniques commonly implemented by laboratories. I have a keen interest in using biotechnology for the research and development of products and methods to benefit everyone. This includes things such as medicines, diagnostic methods, and even food production. My goal is to one day develop, or be part of, a business that makes a difference. I enjoy working with people and believe that, as a team with focused goals, we can accomplish any task and overcome any obstacles in our way. I’d like to think of myself as a leader and I’m always trying to improve as one, but I can also take direction with an initiative to perform tasks.
