Profile Summary

My present position is professor and researcher at Faculty of Medicine at Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico. I have taught Pharmacology and Cell biology from many years and have worked on Pharmacology research projects since 2010 with focus on Pharmacovigilance. Since I like to be part of interdisciplinary teams I have worked in several areas of science, computational and experimental: I worked as a scientific curator for three years at RegulonDB and I have previous experience on the generating and maintenance of a clinical database, I acquired experimental skill during post-graduate courses, I obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Cell Biology, my thesis were about transcriptional regulation on Escherichia coli and yeast. I possess good written and spoken English language management and I have good interpersonal skills. I like to work based on procedures and methods in order to ensure the excellence on curation job. I consider the curation, the integration of information in databases and the analysis of data, an essential part of science.
