Profile Summary

My academic career began in 2005 as an Oral Pathology demonstrator at Tanta University, where I completed my Master and PhD degrees in 2010 and 2017, respectively. From 2012 to 2014, I served as a lecturer in Oral Pathology, Oral Diagnosis, and Oral Medicine at Taibah University, Saudi Arabia. Currently, I'm a faculty member at both Tanta University and Al Salam University (SUE) in Egypt. My research in oral pathology has consistently revolved around oral cancer, an area that holds immense importance since the global rising incidence of oral cancer. I’m particularly interested in cancer cell behavior and the impact of tumor microenvironment on the outcome of oral cancer. I believe that the research performed in this area can greatly influence the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of oral cancer.
