Profile Summary

Carry 12+ year of experience in defining, creation, and maintenance of biological knowledge base and data analysis in the wide range of domains including, proteome, pathways, genetic variation-phenotype association, pharmacogenomics, nutrigenomics, toxicogenomics, biomarkers, microarray analysis, gene regulation, functional genomics, functional annotation of genetic variation, and agrigenomcis. Currently I conduct scientific research on genetic variation studies and support in bioinformatics for Coriell Life Sciences, a spin-off of the internationally-renowned Coriell Institute for Medical Research, has developed a proprietary system for securely storing sequenced genetic data, constructed an interpretation service designed to more accurately determine drug efficacy, and facilitated a seamless exchange between healthcare providers, patients and physicians. Coriell Life Sciences provides three core products – GeneVault, GeneExchange, and GeneDose – integrate genomic medicine into clinical care while managing the breadth of information that is obtained through genomic sequencing. This ecosystem allows healthcare providers, patients and payors to take advantage of the available sequencing technology while carving out and interpreting only that data needed for immediate use and securely storing the data in the GeneVault for future interpretation. Previously worked in Biobase Databases Pvt ltd (A Qiagen Company) and currently working as fulltime frelancer in the area of genomics, pharmacogenomics, NGS analysis, biological content extraction, analysis and summarizing for clinicians, geneticists, and biologists. Was the project manager involved in the defining, development and launch of Pharmacogenomics Mutation Database (PGMD) in Biobase and carry 5-6 years of exclusive experience in handling curation projects involved in mining data for PGx, genetic variation, genomics, etc. Expert in genomic variation related data capturing from scientific articles and analyis and interpretation.
