Brief biography and skills: I am a doctoral student of social epidemiology at the Indian Institute of technology, Gandhinagar, India. I have over three years of experience in social science and public health (also public policy) research in India. The skills I am equipped with are literature review, collecting qualitative and quantitative data (including sensitive data from vulnerable populations), designing and implementing surveys, interview guides, qualitative data analysis, quantitative data analysis (using statistical softwares such as STATA), vulnerability assessments, writing research articles, editing research articles, and writing technical research reports. I have also worked on consultancy projects for the Population Council, New Delhi and the Gujarat Institute of Disaster Management, India. Education: I have completed may graduation and post-graduation in Physics from Assam, India. Soon after, I have moved to IIT Gandhinagar and completed my second post-graduation (MA in Society and Culture) with a special focus in social epidemiology (Institute Gold Medalist). During my master's at IIT Gandhinagar, I am explored the influence of ageism and other socio-structural factors on the psychological wellbeing of middle-aged and older queer adults in India.
