Profile Summary

I am a senior postdoctoral research fellow at UCL. I use psychophysics and EEG to understand human perception of tactile, thermal, and painful stimuli. I am interested in how the brain integrates sensory information from the skin with motor signals and higher cognitive functions to give us a coherent representation of the world surrounding us. I have often collaborated with academic entities and commercial companies to organise public engagement events and science demonstrations. I have also designed, conducted, and analysed psychophysical experiments employing neurocognitive models of human perception to test people's attitudes toward specific commercial products.
