Angella's objective is to inform Africa region and global policy development, by offering viable policy alternatives to address Africa’s and world’s Social, Political and economic problems. She currently focuses on social policy development and analysis, with the aim of providing advice on the design, modification and implementation of appropriate economic and social development. She has interests in contributing to social protection and safeguard policies, tax justice policies, pro-poor growth policies and social protection frameworks, violence extremism and anti-terrorism policies that would ensure sustainable balance between economic growth and socio-economic equality in Africa and globally. She is also passionate about social accountability and advocacy for inclusive and accountable governance systems.

Angella holds a Master of Public Policy in Policy Analysis from the Australian national university, Australia, A Master of Arts in Intercultural and Diversity Studies from Africa international university, Kenya, and a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta university, Kenya. She also has professional training in The Art of Stakeholder Engagement, Citizen Participation and Accountability, Pro-Poor Growth Policies, Leadership Development and Project Management.

Angella has over 16 years of experience working with both public and private sector on wide array of sectors. She has worked as a research consultant on environment and livelihoods for CDTF project funded by DANIDA in 2012, public engagement consultant for Poverty Eradication Network(PEN), ICLA Kenya and MCDF.  She was a graduate teacher and education policy advisor for 10 years with the ministry of education in Kenya. Angella has just successfully completed a project for menstrual education funded by AUSAid where she was a project leader and is working on a current project on sexual health and reproductive rights as a team member.

Currently, Angella is working as a Policy Research Fellow with Kenyatta university and a Senior Technical Consultant for Public Policy and Education with Palladium international. She is also working on freelance consulting basis with current projects being, Public Engagement Consultant with PEN and Governance Consultant with Civil Society Reference Group, Kenya on their projects funded by USAID and DIAKONIA. Except for assignments that require site visits or training, she works independently virtually and has been able to deliver in the past.
