I have extensive field experience in tropical rainforests working as an ecologist, particularly in New Guinea where I have about 15 years experience in Papua New Guinea. I have worked with many aspects of forest ecology, conservation biology, and zoology. I have organized and led many field expeditions and field training courses for university students and professionals. I have also worked for natural history museums (ornithology) and as a consultant to the UNDP.
