Profile Summary

Forest Engineer with a MSc in Forest Sciences and a PhD in Ecology, specialized in tropical forest ecology, biodiversity conservation, ecological modeling, and forest dynamics. My research integrates field ecology, statistical analysis, remote sensing, and spatial analysis to understand ecological processes in tropical ecosystems, particularly in the Amazon region.

I have extensive experience in ecological data analysis using R, including generalized linear mixed models, survival analysis, multivariate statistics, biodiversity metrics, and long-term forest monitoring. I also work with GIS and remote sensing tools for land-use analysis, forest structure assessment, biomass estimation, and environmental monitoring.

My academic and professional background includes research on tropical forest succession, ecological interactions, forest management, climate–growth relationships, dendroecology, carbon dynamics, and biodiversity responses to anthropogenic disturbances. I have participated in multiple scientific projects involving field inventories, permanent plots, vegetation structure analysis, and ecological monitoring in Amazonian ecosystems.
