Profile Summary

I provide regulatory affairs and regulatory writing services for EU electrification policy, EV charging infrastructure, and distributed grid architecture. My focus areas are AFIR compliance, CPO and EVSE acquisition due diligence, and Chinese EVSE hardware exposure across the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. I run AlfaTouro Consulting, an independent regulatory advisory practice for companies operating in or entering the EU EV charging and energy transition space. I submitted formal evidence to the European Commission's AFIR mandatory review public consultation in June 2026 and remain in direct contact with the Commission team handling that review. I also submitted a formal written response to ENTSO-E's TYNDP 2026 System Needs Methodology consultation and contributed structured input to the DESAP 4.1 Digital Twins roadmap. I have published 13 works since early 2026, seven white papers and six practitioner briefs, covering distribution congestion sequencing, CPO-aggregator financing models, NIS2 cybersecurity architecture for distributed energy infrastructure, and AFIR compliance gaps in multi-market CPO scaling. Before this practice, I spent over a decade co-founding and running renewable energy and EV infrastructure ventures across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, including one of the earliest EV charging partnerships at BPCL and IOCL fuel stations in India before 2020. I hold an MSc in Automotive Engineering from Coventry University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Wales, and a BSc in Automotive Engineering from Anna University, India.
