Profile Summary

Technical Product Manager at Shuvoneel RAS System Private Limited, where I lead the design of live fish transportation tanks. My responsibilities include conducting computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and structural analyses to minimize fish mortality rates. I successfully defended my PhD Viva Voce examination on December 12, 2024, with my thesis titled "Surface Engineering Studies of AISI 4150 Steel: Microstructural and Tribomechanical Characterization" at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIAT Pune. My research primarily focused on advanced surface engineering techniques, including NiB coating, salt bath nitrocarburizing, NiW pulsed electrodeposition, and hard chrome electroplating. These processes were investigated to enhance the tribological and mechanical properties of gun barrels for small arms. I have extensive hands-on experience with advanced characterization instruments, such as the FESEM Zeiss Merlin Compact, Bruker D8 Advance diffractometer, nanoindentation apparatus, Mitutoyo roughness tester, DUCOM pin-on-disk machine, and CHI660E workstation. During my two-year collaboration with the Armament Research & Development Establishment (DRDO Lab) in Pune, I performed critical experimental characterizations that contributed significantly to my research. Additionally, I have applied mechanical design and simulation software, including Abaqus, Ansys, Pro-E, and LS-DYNA, during my MTech research to analyze structural mechanics and material behavior. This integration of experimental data with simulation studies allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of material performance. With a keen interest in advancing structural analysis of coatings, composites, and advanced materials, particularly in defense applications, I am committed to contributing to innovative solutions at the intersection of Mechanical Engineering and Material Science.
