Profile Summary

Vivek has been extensively carried out the research work on the adoption of novel approaches on the synthesis, characterization and enhancement of thermoelectric properties of thermoelectric materials such as Magnesium silicide, Silicon Germanium Alloy, Bismuth Telluride via nanostructured/nanocrystalline and stoichiometric design by doping and metal oxide inclusion etc., His current research is progressing on the development of performance improvement of thermoelectric properties via nanostructuring and High Entropy Alloy (HEA) design for thermoelectric applications. His interest further expands on Nanomaterials synthesis, advanced materials synthesis and understanding the structure-property correlation using X-ray charaterisation and electron microscopy (SEM-EBSD, TEM techniques) . He also published his research findings in the reputed and scholarly International Journals of high impact factor such as Advanced Powder Technology, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, Materials Chemistry and Physics, Materials Letters, Materials Research Bulletin, Powder Technology, Scripta Materialia, Vacuum etc.,. And, having presented his work in 26 International Conferences and 14 National Conferences. Vivek has completed a project (as CO-PI) and four projects (as a group member) from public fundings.
