I hold a Bachelor of Science in Physics in the Universidad de los Andes (ULA) in Venezuela (one the top universities in Latin America) where I did my thesis on complex systems, specifically on the formation of communities in coevolutive networks, after that I became interested in systems and computational biology and recently I started a MSc in Molecular Biology in the laboratory of molecular experimental biology (LABIOMEX) of the Universidad de los Andes (ULA) in Venezuela with the purpose of doing research on these topics.

As I said I did my thesis simulating complex systems. I have good knowledge on complex systems comparable to a master degree; in my thesis I develop a computer model to generate coevolutive networks (a especial kind of complex networks) based on a specific dynamic that leads to the formation of a community structure and then I characterize the topological proprieties of the network with several measurements.

Besides of understanding the theory of complex networks I have good computer skills in computer simulation, I know the basic programming to implement models based on differential equations and linear maps and I know how to use computer tools to characterize the emerging networks if this is required. I have experience with computer programming in C, Python and UNIX BASH scripting and with the Linux operating system and I was a teaching assistant in the subject Programming and algorithmic design. Finally, I also have proficiency in English both speaking and writing.
