Previous: Postdoc Stockholm University (Geosciences: Marine Geology); PhD University of Southampton (Ocean and Earth Science: Palaeoclimate) My research has focused on ice retreat during deglaciations, utilising sediment core analysis and mapping of geomorphological features on LiDAR digital elevation models, and have published in respected journals on the basis of my analyses. I have worked extensively in a laboratory setting employing many different sediment analysis techniques; additionally I have led fieldwork both on- and offshore. I have utilised both image-based and numerical analysis techniques, as well as engaging in grey literature and working with legacy data (some >100 y old) in both English and Swedish, in which I have limited working proficiency. I enjoy editing work, particularly on a language basis, and have peer-reviewed journal articles.
