Profile Summary

I am a terrestrial ecologist with research interests in species invasions and the evolution of interactions, primarily mutualism. I have been conducting ecological research for nearly 20 years, using both observational and experimental approaches. I have extensive experience in designing such studies, and in the analytical methods required for each, which are quite different from each other. For the past 15 years I have also been teaching other people how to do research: other researchers, professors, and students. I consult regularly with colleagues on their research questions, and teach classes in experimental methods and analysis.
