Profile Summary

PhD in analytical chemistry, author and co-author of various international publications, I have an advanced background in analytical chemistry (materials and pharmaceutical compounds) combined with strong knowledge in biotechnology and life science. I currently work at VUB (Vrije Universiteit Brussel) as R&D scientist. My role consists in the optimization of analytical systems applicable in the (qualitative and quantitative) analysis, purification and quality control of pharmaceutical products. This job requires the continuous development of analytical methods and analytical transfer protocols (GLP procedures included). In order to optimize the analytical systems (for companies), I have to combine a scientific approach with a product development mentality, being able to propose and explain the outcomes of my R&D to managers and stakeholders.
