Profile Summary

A First-Class Honors in Applied Biology (Biotechnology concentration) followed by a rewarding work experience in cancer research, where focus was on the development of novel targeted therapeutics for cancer. Along with conducting preclinical studies screening, analyzing and testing potential novel drugs, published research findings through articles and a research poster. One manuscript in particular - my very first and co-first authored by me - received excellent reviewers’ comments prior to publication. Realizing during the Honors thesis (anti-cancer effects of black cumin) the significance of communicating science to the general public, started writing and maintaining an engaging, biology-centered blog.
