Profile Summary

I have more than 5+ years of experience in lecturing University students. I completed my PhD in 2019 from Lincoln University New Zealand and currently working as a Lecturer in a Sri Lankan University. For my PhD I explored the host finding mechanism of a Coleopteran beetle which was introduced for the purpose of controlling Californinan thistle. Currently I am engaged with two more projects with regards to Falls army worm and brinjal shoot and fruit borer. I am quite interested in finding ecofriendly solutions to agricultural problems and explore more into basic science as to how and why things happened in the way it does with regards to insects.
