Profile Summary

I am a 'stem cell biologist' and during the ongoing journey have experienced and excelled the derivation of ESC/ iPSC and their differentiation (2D/3D cultures) to several lineages as cardiac, neuronal, eye, endoderm, muscles and hepatocytes. I have experienced working and still continuing working with both mouse and human iPSC. I have also developed a new improved protocol for efficient differentiation of mouse and human iPSC to hepatocytes which later acts as a good platform for small molecule drug screening. Further, I have also experienced in a range of various technologies from recent CRISPR genome engineering to old favorite epigenetic, molecular biology, high throughput analysis and cell biology used time to time for manipulation of stem cells and analysis for the read-outs. As a passion I would further like to learn more of biochemical (including metabolomics) and bioengineering tools to manipulate stem cell reprogramming and differentiation, which is a less traveled road at present with lots of translational applications.
