Currently, I am working at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, College of Applied Health Sciences, A' Sharqiyah University, Ibra, Oman a Professor (Assistant). Also worked in the School of Allied Health Science, IIMT University, Meerut before joining IIMT worked in School of Paramedical Sciences, Starex University, Gurugram. Prior to joining Starex University, I was at Molecular and Transplant Immunology, Department of Pathology and Lab Medicine in Medanta- The Medicity, Gurugram (HR) from Jan 2021 as a trainee. Since Oct 2016, I was an assistant professor at the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Amity Medical School, Amity University Haryana. Prior to joining Amity University Haryana, I was an Assistant professor of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at the School of Life & Allied Health Sciences, the Glocal University, Saharanpur from 2015-2016. I earned my Ph.D. degree from the Glocal University, School of Life & Allied Health Sciences, Saharanpur under the mentorship of Dr. Md Mahamood, and Dr. M V Simha. During my doctorate, I learned cutting different tools and techniques including microscopy, spectrophotometry technique, culture, and sensitivity, sample preparation, and staining technique. During my Ph.D. work, I studied the morphological identification and microscopy of parasitic infection in human samples. During my masters, I used laboratory techniques such as ELISA, RIA, PCR, FACS, HPLC, Electrophoresis, eCLIA, Automation (BIORAD, COBAS, SYSMEX, ADVANTUS, ARCHITECT, and SIEMENS), Flow-cytometry, histo-cytopathological technique, etc. Currently, I am involved in a collaborative project to make a compendium of biomarkers, and their application in the diagnosis of rare diseases such as male breast cancer with Dr. Manoj Kumar Kashyap. Additionally, I am also involved in plasma nucleic acid and its role in the early diagnosis of cancers.
