Profile Summary

I'm a broadly-trained Geographer who likes to study climate changes, mountain environments and glaciers. However, I consider myself a "unconfined" Geoscientist as I'm always open to explore new paths of research. Indeed, I have been very fortunate to participate in a diverse range of research endeavors: from long field seasons studying changes in Patagonian Glaciers, to hydroclimatic numerical modeling of the Coupled Human and Natural Systems in Subsaharan Africa. By the same token, my work interweaves a range of quantitative techniques such as GIS, Remote sensing, Photogrammetry, Hydroclimatic numerical modeling, Stable isotopes, and Geodesy, among others. Experience: Analysis of Glacier-Climate interactions, Hydroclimatic modeling, Glacial Geomorphology, applications of Geochemistry to water and ice studies, Optical Remote Sensing, DEMs, GISscience.
