In 2017, the New York Times reported that the number of employed U.S. workers surveyed who said they spent<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/02\/15\/us\/remote-workers-work-from-home.html\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;at least some time&#8221;<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> working in a remote capacity has risen to 43 percent \u2014 up fou<\/span>r percent since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, many innovators are launching startups from their laptops, building their entrepreneurial dreams right from home. And why not? It makes perfect sense. Whether you&#8217;re a full-time employee, contract worker, freelancer, or business owner, there are many benefits associated with working remotely \u2013 especially in terms of achieving work-life balance. But it can be challenging if you live in a small apartment, and there are other pitfalls if you aren\u2019t careful. Be sure your provider is able to offer this in either a bundled service or as a stand-alone. To see your options, simply plug your zip code into the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/internetprovidersbyzip.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Internet Providers by ZIP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> website. Also make sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homeworkingclub.com\/computer-fundamentals-home-working\/\">have a back up in case your internet goes down<\/a>.
