Unfortunately, this is more true than it needs to be. It is especially surprising given how well connected we are today between our smartphones and various social media apps. There is still a surprisingly low level of constant communication among <a title=\"Cientistas de pesquisa\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/\">cientistas pesquisadores<\/a> tanto dentro de um laborat\u00f3rio como entre laborat\u00f3rios. De fato, existem v\u00e1rios estudos (como este e este) que mostram que a Internet n\u00e3o tem basicamente nenhum impacto sobre a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o em pesquisa e a produtividade! Isso n\u00e3o \u00e9 incr\u00edvel?!<\/p>\n<p>As tr\u00eas principais raz\u00f5es para isso poderiam ser<\/p>\n<p>Falta de vontade de compartilhar informa\u00e7\u00f5es \"confidenciais<br \/>\nUma cren\u00e7a de que ningu\u00e9m mais sabe a resposta<br \/>\n\u00c0 espera da reuni\u00e3o ou confer\u00eancia<\/p>\n<p>Pessoalmente, n\u00e3o vejo nenhum desses argumentos muito fortes, e v\u00e1rios campos t\u00eam permitido maneiras de superar essas barreiras, tais como F\u00edsicos que usam arXiv para pr\u00e9-publicar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Researcher-in-Isolation.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1004 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Researcher-in-Isolation-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Cientista de pesquisa\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Researcher-in-Isolation-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Researcher-in-Isolation.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Researcher-in-Isolation-300x200@2x.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Infelizmente, os pesquisadores muitas vezes se agarram a estes argumentos, embora agora haja um movimento lento, mas crescente, para socializar as descobertas via twitter e blogs. Estes ainda s\u00e3o incipientes e espero que continuem a crescer.<\/p>\n<p>Do outro lado, a Internet teve um grande impacto na capacidade de publicar trabalhos de acesso aberto (PLOS, arXiv) encontrar trabalhos publicados (Google Scholar), e agora est\u00e1 permitindo trabalhos de pesquisa muito f\u00e1ceis (ScienceExchange) ou mesmo laborat\u00f3rios rob\u00f3ticos acess\u00edveis via Internet (Emerald Cloud Lab).
