A este respeito, o presente artigo visa esclarecer debates sobre o uso de cloroquina ou hidroxicloroquina para o tratamento de<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/find-an-expert\/subject\/covid-19\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Post&amp;utm_campaign=ChloroQ-Covid\"> COVID-19<\/a> atrav\u00e9s de uma abordagem baseada em evid\u00eancias.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Role_of_Chloroquine_CQ_Hydroxychloroquine_HCQ_As_Monotherapy\"><\/span><b>Papel da cloroquina (CQ) e da hidroxicicloroquina (HCQ) como monoterapia<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Atualmente n\u00e3o existem medicamentos aprovados pela FDA para o tratamento da COVID-19. (3) Em tal situa\u00e7\u00e3o, os pesquisadores est\u00e3o considerando a reexposi\u00e7\u00e3o de medicamentos como uma das op\u00e7\u00f5es vi\u00e1veis al\u00e9m dos cuidados padr\u00e3o para o tratamento eficaz da doen\u00e7a. Al\u00e9m disso, os ensaios sofreram um vi\u00e9s de aloca\u00e7\u00e3o, pois os participantes n\u00e3o foram randomizados no estudo. Portanto, estes estudos foram inconclusivos e isto exigiu a necessidade de mais ensaios controlados aleat\u00f3rios para a readequa\u00e7\u00e3o destes medicamentos ao seu efeito correto.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Role_of_Hydroxychloroquine_In_Combination_Therapy\"><\/span><b>O papel da hidroxicloroquina na terapia de combina\u00e7\u00e3o<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sabe-se que a azitromicina foi utilizada anteriormente para o tratamento de Zika, \u00c9bola e infec\u00e7\u00f5es severas do trato respirat\u00f3rio. (5) Considerando isto, os pesquisadores realizaram ensaios para elucidar o efeito da terapia combinada (HCQ+Azitromicina) em pacientes afetados pela COVID-19.
