Pedidos de propostas e bolsas de pesquisa s\u00e3o mais comuns na cria\u00e7\u00e3o de objetos do que pensar neles. Em uma escala maior, ouvimos protestos sobre o que os regulamentos ambientais destinados a ajudar o planeta far\u00e3o com a \"economia\".  N\u00e3o importa que sem um ambiente, esta \"economia\" sagrada nunca existiria.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>A tecnologia \u00e9 a resposta ao chamado humano para facilitar a vida, mas sem uma forma\u00e7\u00e3o educacional decente, a pessoa \u00e9 incapacitada de apreciar o porqu\u00ea da tecnologia.<\/strong>\u00a0 Enquanto os \"de costas para a terra\", e aqueles que est\u00e3o chateados com a \"moral solta\", podem ficar com medo dos \"bons velhos tempos\", o trabalhador sabe o que \u00e9 lavar roupas \u00e0 beira do rio, andar atr\u00e1s de um cavalo de arado, ou cortar lenha para a lareira.  Ao inv\u00e9s do Pony Express, n\u00f3s temos o smartphone. Os supercomputadores t\u00eam literalmente um salto qu\u00e2ntico sobre a m\u00e1quina de adicionar. Os cavalos n\u00e3o voam para esta\u00e7\u00f5es espaciais. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A humanidade (especialmente os jovens com pouca habilidade de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o), aplica triutamente a palavra \"incr\u00edvel\" e \"legal\" para descrever esses desenvolvimentos, mas a base pode ser, na melhor das hip\u00f3teses, apenas um v\u00e1cuo, caracterizado pela crescente complexidade e impulsionado por Ren\u00e9 Descartes.  Este 17<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fil\u00f3sofo do s\u00e9culo, afirmou em <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discurso sobre o m\u00e9todo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que para entender qualquer coisa, precisamos \".... para dividir cada uma das dificuldades em exame no maior n\u00famero poss\u00edvel de partes, e o que for necess\u00e1rio para sua solu\u00e7\u00e3o adequada\". mostrando que n\u00e3o podemos conceber o corpo a menos que seja divis\u00edvel\". (Descartes, 1641, p. 122).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A subdivis\u00e3o repetida resulta em um mundo que requer gerenciamento al\u00e9m da capacidade de indiv\u00edduos individuais, e, possivelmente at\u00e9 mesmo grupos deles [Homer-Dixon, 2006; Tainter, 2003].  Enfrentamos meros detalhes sem qualquer estrutura para essa gest\u00e3o. A esperteza, em oposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 esperteza, na cria\u00e7\u00e3o desse detalhe n\u00e3o \u00e9 equiparada \u00e0 avalia\u00e7\u00e3o das necessidades humanas ou do efeito da humanidade sobre o meio ambiente.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Os sintomas de obsess\u00e3o pela tecnologia s\u00e3o evid\u00eancia de uma quest\u00e3o mais profunda de n\u00e3o refletirmos sobre n\u00f3s mesmos e, ao que parece, est\u00e1 levando ao suic\u00eddio de esp\u00e9cies [Extin\u00e7\u00e3o Holoc\u00eanica, 2019].\u00a0<\/strong> Uma conclus\u00e3o radical? Sim. Uma forma de evit\u00e1-la? Sim. Primeiro, vamos inspecionar alguns fatos principais.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O conhecimento e as respostas tecnol\u00f3gicas a ele t\u00eam se comprimido de tal forma que finalmente chegaremos a uma \"singularidade tecnol\u00f3gica\" [\u00c9den e Mouro, 2012], onde nossa incapacidade de administr\u00e1-lo provocar\u00e1 o colapso da civiliza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span><b>.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A degrada\u00e7\u00e3o ambiental tem aumentado a um ritmo cada vez maior, evidenciada pelo aquecimento global, esgotamento de recursos e estratifica\u00e7\u00e3o radical da renda, cuja evid\u00eancia pode ser obtida facilmente a partir de fontes revisadas pelos pares, pelos menos pregui\u00e7osos e mais astutos de nossa esp\u00e9cie.  Somente os ide\u00f3logos reacion\u00e1rios pol\u00edticos, sem instru\u00e7\u00e3o, e os que lucram com tal degrada\u00e7\u00e3o, negar\u00e3o isto.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta degrada\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 amea\u00e7ando a pr\u00f3pria exist\u00eancia da esp\u00e9cie humana, como mostrar\u00e1 uma busca da \"Sexta Grande Extin\u00e7\u00e3o\", ou \"Extin\u00e7\u00e3o Holoc\u00eanica\".<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O crescente foco na tecnologia \u00e9 parcialmente respons\u00e1vel pelo decl\u00ednio na educa\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade necess\u00e1ria para resolver problemas mundiais, bem como pela deteriora\u00e7\u00e3o da revis\u00e3o da qualidade pelos pares [Qualidade da educa\u00e7\u00e3o, 2019].\u00a0 <strong>Metade dos adultos americanos n\u00e3o consegue ler al\u00e9m dos 8<\/strong><\/span><strong>th<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> nota<\/strong> [Alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o de adultos, 2019]!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A superpopula\u00e7\u00e3o resultou principalmente (al\u00e9m da pobreza) dos avan\u00e7os m\u00e9dicos e da tecnologia agr\u00edcola [Bavel, 2013].<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uma r\u00e1pida an\u00e1lise das fontes de not\u00edcias revelar\u00e1 insatisfa\u00e7\u00e3o mundial com os governos que n\u00e3o conseguem atender \u00e0s necessidades humanas b\u00e1sicas e sua incompet\u00eancia, falta de vontade ou simplesmente gan\u00e2ncia diante dos crescentes problemas sociais e ambientais.  Isso resulta em um mundo mais fraturado, repleto de capacidade humana aprimorada (atrav\u00e9s da tecnologia) para se destruir a si mesmo.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Estamos na proverbial encruzilhada, onde os cientistas nos dizem que se n\u00e3o respondermos adequadamente a estes desafios agora, os pontos de n\u00e3o retorno ser\u00e3o alcan\u00e7ados [ONU, 2019] e n\u00e3o existiremos mais como esp\u00e9cie.  Como uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o desse tipo poderia parecer?<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Como em outras situa\u00e7\u00f5es de solu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas, h\u00e1 tr\u00eas partes para a solu\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1) \u00c9 preciso reconhecer que existe um problema.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2) Os afetados t\u00eam que reunir a vontade para uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>\n3) Eles tamb\u00e9m devem ser capazes de formular um eficaz.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>No entanto, h\u00e1 um componente vital em falta. Em vez do triciclo de uma crian\u00e7a, temos um tanque. S\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias quatro rodas, n\u00e3o tr\u00eas, e a quarta \u00e9 o ethos.<\/strong> Temos que pensar al\u00e9m das particularidades de Descartes e refletir sobre nosso ambiente de valores e como ele chega a ser.  N\u00e3o h\u00e1 \"bala de prata\" ou outra solu\u00e7\u00e3o tecnol\u00f3gica. Mais explicitamente, esta esp\u00e9cie ter\u00e1 que olhar longa e profundamente dentro daquele espelho e perguntar \"do que se trata? Trata-se de narcisismo e de nos enraizarmos a n\u00f3s mesmos? Os animais s\u00e3o bastante capazes de fazer isso. O que nos distingue do resto das esp\u00e9cies? O crescente detalhe do desenvolvimento tecnol\u00f3gico causa uma correspondente desintegra\u00e7\u00e3o de foco.  Olhar com persist\u00eancia para um smartphone ou \"seguir\" outros nas m\u00eddias sociais \u00e9 apenas ru\u00eddo e nenhum sinal. O todo \u00e9 comprometido pelas partes, em vez de ser equilibrado.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Por que tudo isso \u00e9 verdade?  A tecnologia existe por causa do que a gera: a ci\u00eancia.  A tecnologia \u00e9 a pr\u00e1tica da teoria gerada pela ci\u00eancia.  O treinamento \u00e9 para aqueles que querem aprender sobre tecnologia. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 para o cientista.  A tecnologia diz respeito \u00e0 aplica\u00e7\u00e3o; a ci\u00eancia \u00e9 a teoria. No entanto, estes dois p\u00f3los muitas vezes s\u00e3o confabulados ou utilizados de forma intercambi\u00e1vel, como aqueles em treinamento sendo \"educados\".\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A distin\u00e7\u00e3o entre os dois se estende at\u00e9 a \u00e9poca grega cl\u00e1ssica, onde a etimologia fornece uma pista. Vejamos de perto:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Episteme\"><\/span><b>Episteme<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">...etimologicamente derivado da palavra grega antiga \u1f10\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03ae\u03bc\u03b7 para conhecimento ou ci\u00eancia, que vem do verbo \u1f10\u03c0\u03af\u03c3\u03c4\u03b1\u03bc\u03b1\u03b9, \"conhecer\". Na terminologia de Plat\u00e3o episteme significa conhecimento, como em \"cren\u00e7a verdadeira justificada\", em contraste com doxa, cren\u00e7a ou opini\u00e3o comum. A palavra epistemologia, que significa o estudo do conhecimento, \u00e9 derivada de episteme. [23]<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Techne\"><\/span><b>Techn\u00e9<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"...etimologicamente derivado da palavra grega \u03c4\u03ad\u03c7\u03bd\u03b7 (grego antigo: [t\u00e9k\u02b0n\u025b\u02d0], grego moderno: [\u02c8texni] ( ouvir)), que muitas vezes \u00e9 traduzido como \"artesanato\", \"artesanato\", ou \"arte\". [Techne, 2019].<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cada um existe por causa do outro.  A vida, em si, \u00e9 assim, e nossa percep\u00e7\u00e3o dela nos permitir\u00e1 salvar esta esp\u00e9cie.  Considere rela\u00e7\u00f5es simples como esta:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">para cima - para baixo<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">quente - frio<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">esquerda - direita<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sim - n\u00e3o<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a favor - contra<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">negativo - positivo,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e assim por diante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Conceitualmente, cada um destes descreve limites para os gradientes intermedi\u00e1rios, como em t\u00e9pido, com quente em uma extremidade, e frio na outra.  Mais importante ainda, um n\u00e3o existiria sem o outro. A \u00fanica maneira de vermos as marca\u00e7\u00f5es no quadro-negro \u00e9 pelo fundo. Tal apreens\u00e3o \u00e9 atrav\u00e9s da unidade de opostos, ou dial\u00e9tica.\u00a0 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">T\u00e9cnica<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> existe por causa de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">episteme<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e vice versa.\u00a0 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">T\u00e9cnica<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> por si s\u00f3 n\u00e3o tem conte\u00fado.  Tampouco <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">episteme<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> t\u00eam qualquer conte\u00fado sem aquele que o expressa, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">techne<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.  Em um n\u00edvel mais abstrato, um indiv\u00edduo n\u00e3o pode existir sem a sociedade, e a sociedade precisa de indiv\u00edduos. Cada coisa tem um contexto, uma hist\u00f3ria e um devir. Um \u00e9 em termos do outro, \u00e9 din\u00e2mico, e forma a base da organicidade, cada \u00f3rg\u00e3o contribuindo para a vida do organismo. Eu proponho o seguinte. Para cada artigo, not\u00edcia ou discuss\u00e3o sobre o \u00faltimo avan\u00e7o tecnol\u00f3gico, deve haver um tratamento correspondente da raz\u00e3o n\u00e3o-material que o sublinhe. Como a \u00faltima \"atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o\" para software de computador \u00e9 um aprimoramento da compreens\u00e3o de n\u00f3s mesmos? Ou, ser\u00e1 o mero interesse comercial a raz\u00e3o?
