Deixei meu emprego e sa\u00ed para ver um pouco mais do mundo. Assim que cheguei na \u00c1sia e vi todas as iguarias que ela tinha para oferecer, soube que este era um lugar onde eu podia descobrir tantos sabores novos que nunca havia provado antes. De gr\u00e3os de pimenta verde frescos a mangas de mel, kwinis, frutas duri\u00e3s; a \u00c1sia continuava me surpreendendo e eu estava adorando.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ap\u00f3s alguns meses de viagem e voluntariado, descobri que poderia fazer algo pelos outros sendo um consultor de alimentos. Eu acidentalmente tropecei em <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Post&amp;utm_campaign=Travel-Food-Consultant\">Kolabtree<\/a> e decidiu se inscrever imediatamente. Conhecendo pessoas de todo o mundo e ouvindo sobre seus interessantes projetos, percebi rapidamente que ser um consultor freelancer remoto de alimentos seria o meu forte!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cambodia\"><\/span>Camboja<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em maio de 2014 comecei a trabalhar para uma empresa de biscoitos no Reino Unido, onde adquiri muito conhecimento sobre biscoitos, bolachas, bolos e todos os tipos de produtos assados. Quando cheguei no Camboja durante minhas viagens, voluntariei-me para trabalhar em uma padaria local onde os ajudei com novas formula\u00e7\u00f5es de produtos e prolongando o prazo de validade de alguns de seus produtos. 35\u00b0C e alta umidade s\u00e3o condi\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas completamente diferentes do tempo chuvoso e frio no Reino Unido e tivemos que nos adaptar e aprender rapidamente e encontrar solu\u00e7\u00f5es no local. A padaria estava lutando para fazer com que o caramelo salgado funcionasse, pois o uso de creme local no Camboja era um desafio e caro. Com cortes regulares de energia e tempo muito quente, o creme muito caro estragaria muito rapidamente, ent\u00e3o tivemos que tomar medidas. Em 3 dias, reformulamos a receita usando leite em p\u00f3 que at\u00e9 fazia o caramelo saber melhor!  O plano original era ficar por duas semanas, mas eventualmente, decidi ficar por 8 semanas e continuar fazendo isso durante minhas viagens!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Malaysia\"><\/span>Mal\u00e1sia<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depois do Camboja, decidi ir para a Mal\u00e1sia, onde me voluntariei para ser cozinheiro em um pequeno centro de sa\u00fade nos arredores de Kuala Lumpur. As pessoas que l\u00e1 viviam precisavam de alimentos saud\u00e1veis, cheios de vitaminas e minerais para ganhar mais for\u00e7a. Desenvolvi um card\u00e1pio de duas semanas e um plano de estoque, para que as doa\u00e7\u00f5es de alimentos pudessem ser feitas a fim de reduzir os custos e obter os ingredientes certos para o que as pessoas precisavam. Fiz sopas chinesas, bolinhos, caril de vegetais indianos e panquecas ao estilo americano embaladas com frutas malaio incrivelmente saborosas (manga, abacaxi e banana). Tamb\u00e9m fui aos mercados locais onde conheci novos vegetais dos quais eu nem sabia a exist\u00eancia. Fiquei em uma casa de uma fam\u00edlia que foi para a Europa por seis semanas e tive que cuidar de seus coelhos, gatos e plantas. Era o momento ideal para fazer algum desenvolvimento alimentar! Fui \u00e0s lojas (Mustafa no CBD, grande loja!) e felizmente encontrei os ingredientes que eu queria para o meu desenvolvimento. P\u00f3s de alta prote\u00edna, glicerina, lecitina, etc., etc. Comprei um bom misturador e algumas outras ferramentas, fiz todas as minhas amostras e as coloquei em Londres. Outro cliente satisfeito, al\u00e9m disso, provei toda a deliciosa comida local nos vendedores de comida em toda Cingapura!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sydney\"><\/span>Sydney<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agora estou baseado em Sydney, onde trabalho com dois clientes da Austr\u00e1lia e um dos EUA. Gra\u00e7as \u00e0 internet eu pude comprar algumas amostras dos EUA e estar em Sydney facilita a compra de todos os ingredientes que preciso para meu desenvolvimento. Trabalhar com clientes de todo o mundo e estar baseado em locais diferentes me d\u00e1 tanto conhecimento sobre a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o alimentar local, fornecedores, tend\u00eancias alimentares e formas de trabalhar culturalmente s\u00e1bios. Sei que nem todos os pa\u00edses me d\u00e3o a liberdade de comprar os ingredientes que preciso, mas com minha caixinha cheia de amidos modificados, substitutos de a\u00e7\u00facar, emulsificantes e uma boa escala em minha mochila, sei que posso continuar me desenvolvendo onde quer que esteja!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Felizmente, ningu\u00e9m me tomou como traficante de subst\u00e2ncias ilegais!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ent\u00e3o, o que vem a seguir? Talvez um medidor de pH adicional para minha \"caixa de desenvolvimento de alimentos\" e tenho outro projeto planejado a uma hora de Melbourne onde ajudarei uma fazenda de latic\u00ednios no desenvolvimento de seus sorvetes. Tamb\u00e9m continuarei me candidatando a todos os tipos de projetos em Kolabtree. Ser um freelancer de alimentos \u00e9 algo que eu n\u00e3o sabia que era poss\u00edvel h\u00e1 alguns anos atr\u00e1s.
