a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics <a U.S.\u00a0Since its first conference, hosted at the University of Wisconsin in 2006, ASHEcon has achieved the tag of being a premier health economics conference in the US, providing a forum for presenting emerging ideas, empirical results, and methodological advances in health economics &amp; outcomes research (HEOR) and for facilitating open discussions among health economics scholars. This year, the event is slated to happen at the\u00a0Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC.
