The overwhelming majority pursue careers outside science and a portion continues on in private sector based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/ja\/ensuring-reproducibility-in-ai-driven-research-how-freelance-experts-can-help-in-biotech-and-healthcare\/\">\u30ea\u30b5\u30fc\u30c1<\/a>. At first glance, there isn\u2019t really any problem with this: PhD educated professionals gain many transferable skills from their time in graduate school and make desirable hires. Having said that; there is a certain loss of knowledge that accompanies this shift in career
