Sembra improbabile, vero? E su cosa hanno lavorato insieme? Analisi dei dati! Il ricercatore (della Stony Brook University di New York) stava studiando l'effetto della frequenza delle visite in palestra sul rendimento scolastico. Il suo team non \u00e8 stato in grado di ottenere alcun modello significativo dal set di dati di quasi 800.000 record. Ha pubblicato il suo progetto su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/?utm_source=BlogRWB\">Kolabtree<\/a>e un astrofisico dell'Imperial College di Londra (che \u00e8 abituato a gestire grandi serie di dati, come si potrebbe immaginare) lo hanno aiutato a portare a termine il progetto.<\/p>\n<p>Questo \u00e8 solo uno dei tanti esempi delle molte collaborazioni transfrontaliere che stanno avvenendo in tutto il mondo. Secondo un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unesco.org\/new\/en\/natural-sciences\/science-technology\/single-view-sc-policy\/news\/international_scientific_collaboration_has_become_a_must_sa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/www.unesco.org\/new\/en\/natural-sciences\/science-technology\/single-view-sc-policy\/news\/international_scientific_collaboration_has_become_a_must_sa\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1493279563310000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHocskE0gPPH4MvnBX1UJ-3AmOa9A\">Rapporto scientifico dell'UNESCO<\/a>, \"un articolo scientifico su quattro prodotto in tutto il mondo \u00e8 stato co-firmato da un collaboratore straniero nel 2014, rispetto a uno su cinque un decennio prima\".
