Ahora, 20 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s del estreno del episodio, un matem\u00e1tico independiente ha encontrado la soluci\u00f3n al problema. Resulta que el truco consist\u00eda en encontrar el \u00e1ngulo correcto de\u00a0<em>inclinaci\u00f3n<\/em> que habr\u00eda ayudado a subir el sof\u00e1 con \u00e9xito al apartamento de Ross.<\/p>\n<p>El experto que ha ayudado a resolver este problema es el aut\u00f3nomo Kolabtree <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/find-an-expert\/caroline-zaborowski\/?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Post&amp;utm_campaign=Friends-Pivot\">Caroline Zabarowski<\/a> (Zunckel). Cow PR, una agencia de relaciones p\u00fablicas con sede en Londres, public\u00f3 el proyecto en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/\">Kolabtree<\/a> en nombre de su cliente, SpareRoom. Estaban buscando un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/find-an-expert\/subject\/mathematics?utm_source=Blog&amp;utm_medium=Post&amp;utm_campaign=Friends-Pivot\">matem\u00e1tico aut\u00f3nomo<\/a> para dar con la f\u00f3rmula de la mejor manera de meter un sof\u00e1 en un apartamento, sobre todo en uno sin ascensor ni escaleras.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u00a1\u00a1\u00a1\u00a1\u00a1Escena divertida de Friends - PIVOT!!!!!\" width=\"702\" height=\"395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Tam7KO4qhUI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Una vez publicado el proyecto en Kolabtree, recibieron seis propuestas de matem\u00e1ticos y cient\u00edficos de datos de todo el mundo. La propuesta que destac\u00f3 fue un desglose detallado del problema por parte de Caroline, una astrof\u00edsica con un doctorado en Astrof\u00edsica por la Universidad de Oxford, y varios a\u00f1os de experiencia trabajando en ciencia de datos y matem\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<p>Presentando el problema en forma de diagrama y trabajando con 10.000 simulaciones, Caroline propuso la siguiente ecuaci\u00f3n para encontrar el \u00e1ngulo correcto de inclinaci\u00f3n vertical:<\/p>\n<p>\u00c1ngulo de inclinaci\u00f3n vertical = 44,15064 - (11,94274 x WS) + (8,69119 x WC) + (3,65961 x LC)<br \/>\ndonde WS es la anchura de la escalera, WC la anchura del sof\u00e1 y LC la longitud del sof\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>Muy bonito, \u00bfverdad?
