Son muchas las historias que quedan por contar dentro de este escenario interregional cosmopolita. La ocasi\u00f3n de este libro es, por tanto, tratar de remodelar nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de \u00c1frica y Asia. Comprender los imperios terrestres y mar\u00edtimos del Oc\u00e9ano \u00cdndico desde diferentes perspectivas metodol\u00f3gicas y diferentes temas y culturas es el principal motivo de esta colecci\u00f3n de estudios.
