Was ist die Gemeinsamkeit zwischen dem Large Hadron Collider, dem Harvard Stem Cell Institute und dem Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center? Es ist nichts anderes als Zusammenarbeit<\/em> zwischen Forschung<\/a> Experten aus der ganzen Welt.<\/p>\n

Der LHC wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit \u00fcber 10 000 Wissenschaftlern und Ingenieuren aus \u00fcber 100 L\u00e4ndern sowie Hunderten von Universit\u00e4ten und Labors gebaut. Shire plc und das Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center haben k\u00fcrzlich eine dreij\u00e4hrige, breit angelegte Forschungszusammenarbeit zur Bek\u00e4mpfung seltener Krankheiten angek\u00fcndigt. Und AstraZeneca hat ein f\u00fcnfj\u00e4hriges Kooperationsabkommen mit dem Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI) unterzeichnet, um neue Behandlungsm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Diabetes zu finden.<\/p>\n

Die Welt war noch nie so vernetzt wie heute, und noch nie hatten wir die M\u00f6glichkeit, so nahtlos zusammenzuarbeiten wie heute. Die Wissenschaft ist mehr denn je auf Zusammenarbeit angewiesen, doch in den meisten F\u00e4llen beruhen die Mittel, um die richtigen Kooperationspartner zu finden, immer noch weitgehend auf pers\u00f6nlichen Kontakten, auf der Vernetzung auf Konferenzen und auf Zuf\u00e4llen.<\/p>\n

In einer Zeit, in der Postdoc-Stellen<\/a> immer knapper werden, ist es fast verwunderlich, dass viele Unternehmen gezwungen sind, ihre Innovationspl\u00e4ne zu bremsen, weil sie keinen Partner f\u00fcr die Forschung finden. Ein wenig Nachforschung zeigt, dass das Fehlen einer geeigneten Plattform f\u00fcr die wissenschaftliche Zusammenarbeit diese Probleme verursacht.<\/p>\n
