F\u00fcr diese Entdeckung wurde er 1930 mit dem Nobelpreis f\u00fcr Physik ausgezeichnet und war damit der erste Asiate und Nicht-Wei\u00dfe, der diesen Lorbeer erhielt.<\/p>\n<div>Das Ph\u00e4nomen war der Raman-Effekt, und der Mann dahinter war C. V. Raman. Der Raman-Effekt zeigt, dass gestreute Photonen nicht die gleiche Energie (Frequenz und Wellenl\u00e4nge) haben m\u00fcssen wie die einfallenden Photonen. Beim Auftreffen eines Photons auf ein Atom geht ein gewisser Teil der Energie verloren, und jedes Atom kann nur eine bestimmte Menge an Energie speichern. Die Untersuchung der Energien, die den Raman-Frequenzverschiebungen entsprechen, hilft bei der Ermittlung der Zusammensetzung und der Eigenschaften von Materialien.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1761 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/raman-krishnan.jpg\" alt=\"raman-krishnan\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/raman-krishnan.jpg 480w, https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/raman-krishnan-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/div>\n<div>C.V. Raman had one dedicated student and collaborator who helped his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kolabtree.com\/blog\/de\/ensuring-reproducibility-in-ai-driven-research-how-freelance-experts-can-help-in-biotech-and-healthcare\/\">Forschung<\/a> realize success. \u00a0By his side was K. S. Krishnan, who contributed enormously to Raman&#8217;s studies and experiments. Krishnan, who was working in Madras Christian College, moved to Calcutta in 1920 to work with Raman. During the years 1925 to 1928, Krishnan authored singly or jointly 16 papers, under Raman&#8217;s tutelage. He was the one who first gave Raman a demonstration of the scattering. Between Feb 19th and 26th, 1928, Krishnan performed many experiments that proved the inelastic scattering of light. The discovery of the Raman effect was made jointly by Raman and Krishnan on February 28th, which is now celebrated as National Science Day.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nachdem Raman 1930 den Nobelpreis erhalten hatte, gab es viele Kontroversen, die darauf hindeuteten, dass Krishnan nicht genug Anerkennung f\u00fcr seinen Beitrag erhalten hatte.
